Every time I've worn this skirt I hear the words "that's so you" "how autumnal" and I have to AGREE. I can't afford a real leather skirt, nor would I really want one anyway. PU or pleather has made it's way onto the list of acceptable fashion items and it's here to stay. I wanted to at first, pair it with a roll neck. I probably will pair it with a roll neck at some point, because why not. BUT a long sleeve shirt (because... winter), tied at the last 3 buttons and rolled on top of the skirt make a fabulous pair if I do say so myself. The skirt is a perfect over the knee length, with slight natural pleats when it falls.
For shoes, white boots will do the trick obviously, but if you're looking for a more office acceptable shoe, a white mule such as this one from ASOS will do the trick nicely. Mules are still very much in for Autumn and the colder months. It's about how you wear something, not what you wear. I then added my classic, and cheap bag from Primark will all the 90s nostalgia attached too.
