I went shopping. Again. Here's a few first impressions of the beauty items that I picked up!
The Elizabeth Arden bronzing duo is a super light powder based bronzing palette. The product itself is very soft and seems to stick to the skin once buffed in. The block also comes with it's own brush, which I doubt I'll use, purely because of the length of the handle, but a nice addition in the box.
New Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation and concealer. This was on the top of my wish list since it's release. It took me quite a while to pick up the foundation in my shade (lightest) as it was sold out everywhere instantly. Eventually one popped up on Boots and I thought I may as well try the concealer whilst I'm at it too.
The foundation, besides being on the slightly off light tone, is a lovely product. It's liquidy enough to blend easily and a medium coverage with room to layer.
The concealer isn't something I'd use on spots or blemishes as it's quite a lightweight sheer product. However I've used it a few times for undereye darkness, and it has never melted off or bunched up!
Too Faced Melted Metal lip product in shade Dream House is the Barbiest pink I've ever seen. The ultimate girly girl in me loves this, but every other inch can't understand why on earth I picked this up. The formula is quite thick and it feels lovely to wear. But with my see through pale skin, I may never get a chance to wear it.
I'm keen to see how the Too Faced No filter Selfie Powders fair up. I love the idea, and think the more purple shade would (hopefully) brighten up my red skin under foundation. I may test these soon and write a little report on how it did!
I love what you've bought! I really want to get some of the Too Faced Melted lipsticks x
