The Wardrobe Edit: The Checked trend

I don't think that there's been a trend in so long that has hit me liked the checks have. From trousers to jeans, dresses to jackets, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is checked. When you mash my two favourite things together: checks and beige, you get the outfit of your dreams. If your dreams are the same as mine.

It was predicted back in the summer, like a prophecy from above. However not like one at all because we all know that trends are set months in advance so this was already written in the stars before it even began. How philosophical. My instagram is full of outfits with lines all over. And I love it so. Every search bar contains the word 'check' or basics that'll go with checks. I am obsessed. Here I've styled a Primark pinafore dress with a fluffy high neck top and the white boots that I can't walk in to save my life.

I've gathered together a few of my favourite checked pieces from my wardrobe so you can shop them and be as happy as Larry as I am.

  1. The outfit you styled and posed in for the photos above looks very attractive. The dress looks very pretty and the long-sleeved top looks soft and warm.
I like your favourite checked wardrobe picks.
My faves are the short sleeved peplum blouse (3 of 15), the coordinated crop-top and skater skirt (4 of 15), the checked yelow mini-skirt (8 of 15), and the long-sleeved a-line minidress with silver trim (14 of 15),
