What I wore in Rome

A style diary, Rome Edition.

Sunday

Traveling? Comfies all the way. I wore adidas leggings with an oversized sweatshirt from Skinny Dip. I wore my white check lined Vans and my New Look teddy coat as storm Dennis hit the UK.

Monday

I soon realised within seconds of getting off of the plane, that storm Dennis was indeed NOT in Rome and the 15+ degree temp took me by surprise. I took my coat out with me just incase but within an hour realised how much of a mistake that was. It was like carrying a durvet around in the summer.

Outfit wise, I firstly chose this min blouse from River Island. I paired my new white jeans from Dorothy Perkins that I hem-cut myself (because I'm just that bit too short) and these gorgeous olive coloured heels from ASOS. I took my little olive clutch to carry my camera and purse etc, and of course trainers for when we weren't drinking at a gorgeous cafe looking over the colosseum.

Monday also saw the same white jeans, new cami top from Zara (because I'd rought roll necks and jumpers) and my nude Kurt Geiger heels that became a God send after hours of flat Vans walking.

Tuesday

I opted for a little dress on Tuesday, as we were to walk past some of the most beautiful and romantic bridges I'd ever seen. This floral number was from Shein and the ruffles are perfectly matched with the shoulder ties. We headed to The Vatican City, so obviously had to cover my shoulders by this point. I put on a pair of my favourite New Look dark wash blue jeans and a new oversized shirt from Primark. I didn't manage to nab a photo as we were busy in the very overcrowded Vatican museums by this point, but it made a nice change to wear something floaty and lightweight.

Wednesday

Wednesday was our travel home day, and luckily the first day of the trip that saw fog and a glimpse of grey skies. Here the casual items made a return as we hopped on the plane and flew back to ever so dull England.
