The Charlotte Tilbury - Very Victoria review

Along with the likes of YSL and Chanel; Charlotte Tilbury's line of makeup has been something I've admired from afar for a while. This month's paycheck saw the first (of many) CT purchases and of course, I started out with one of the best rated mattes I've heard about, Very Victoria.

The shade itself is a brown toned nude. I swatched it on both my natural colour and a part of my arm with a slight tan (patchy tan enhancing moisturiser may I add). With my natural skin tone the colour was definitly browner but a your colour but better shade. On the darker tone it had a more pink essence to it. Beautiful either way.

Because the shade is you-but-better, after wear, the colour will simply fade off rather than leaving a patchy stain around the edges, perfect for long days at work where touch ups are rare.

The consistency is very creamy but does need a heavier hand to apply. However it dries quickly and I'm not afraid to accidently touch my lip or drink anything as the colour doesn't transfer or smudge at all!

Overall I absolutely love the lipstick and I believe this is the start of a beautiful and expensive journey between myself and my purse.
