Confirming my ticket the night before, the first Blogosphere Blog Awards was always on my events-to-go-to list. I headed up to London and met with Anna from www.farewellmay.co.uk and we popped into Peggy Porschen (my first time!), had a cupcake, and hopped back on the tube to the Iris Studios in West London.
We first strutted *ha* down the red carpet to be greeted by Albertine (Blogosphere's commissioning editor) and Kaye (Fordtography) and of course had a few pictures taken at that amazing flower wall! Next we grabbed a drink (free all night!) and took a seat at the front on one of the four long tables. Here we got our goodie bags (below) and Rhianne from www.littlenovelist.com came and said hello, sat with us the whole night and then won the award for Best Book Blogger!
The night ended with a few more soft drinks, chats with a few other bloggers, and as Anna's train wasn't until very late, we stayed until closing time on a table with 3 bloggers and Albertine, Alice (Editor in chief) and Elaine from the B'Sphere.
I had such a lovely night and congrats to all the winners!
