Subscribing to Glossybox for a year or so, in some ways put me off sub boxes for good. When I signed up for BirchBox I wasn't expecting much. And even after receiving it, I'm still not sure.
The box- is tiny. Like half the size of a GlossyBox and most of the products are samples/travel sized. I think that shocked me slightly, and put a downer on opening it. The products themselves aren't too bad.
Spectrum Brush: This beautiful pink brush is super soft and I could choose between a pink or purple one online.
Palmer's coconut oil: a good travel size.
Oribe Wave and shine Spray: assuming thi is a hairspray I'll test this out on my holiday this summer.
Merci Handy hand gel: smells divine!
LOC eyeshadow stick: the gray has a lovely shimmer and doesn't smudge once set.

Is it worth the hype? If you want samples to try of a range of products with one or two full sized things; then yeah. If you want more there are many subscription boxes out there too!
