It's official (to the UK at least) that summer has arrived (and will be gone within the month) and it is HOT. I think however that it is time for the summer dresses to make their return, but do keep your cardis out too, just incase.
Square or rounded necklines are fab, plus the added bonus of linen for the new season. You could even grab a dress with floaty or puffed sleeves, and tie AW to SS with ease. Here I'm wearing one from Shein*/. Its backless (with ties so no side gape!) and elasticated for all your summer bbq needs.
You could pop a belt on and wear it to work, or grab some sandals for a day in the sun.
