Our stay at the Jurys Inn Waterfront Hotel

Ever have those moments that you just say wow? We walked into our Executive Suite at the Jurys Inn Waterfront Hotel in Brighton and this was one of those moments. The suite consists of two rooms, a lounge and a bedroom, bathroom, dining area and slight hallway leading to a wardrobe. It's the biggest hotel room I've ever been in, and safe to say, my standards are RAISED.

With prosecco on arrival, we popped our bags into the wardrobe and settled in. The room has a sea view with the pier to the left and West Beach on the right. The room has gorgeous and understated decor dotted around, a TV in each room and a window seat for breakfast teas with a view. Talking of breakfast, we were given a continental each outside of the room at 8am, consisting of a yogurt, pastries, fruit and juice. On our way out, we booked a breakfast bap of sausage, bacon and egg to be ready each morning.

The hotel is stunning. Downstairs is a large foyer, with a bar and large seating area. There is a one way system in the lobby and we felt very covid safe the entire time. The staff couldn't have been more helpful either. When J forgot his phone charger, the manager gave over her personal one and said to keep it for the duration of our stay. When our breakfast baps weren't on the counter ready to go, the manager also ran back and had one made up for us within seconds.

We were kindly upgraded for our two night stay. I originally found a deal on Wowcher for the hotel, but since had spoken to the PR contact for the hotel who, alongside the manager, gave us the upgrade for the weekend.

The bathroom is stunning, with gorgeous wooden touches and a touch of green tiles. Let's chat about the minis. We had shampoos, shower gels as standard and a dental kit would you believe. Perfect if you, like me, have a habit of forgetting the small things. There is of course a tea/coffee bar, with not only the standard packets, but a coffee machine for your perfect morning brew. Underneath sees a minibar with a couple of water bottles (sparkling too which gets my vote).

Not something we took advantage of, but something worth mentioning, is that the hotel has a spa and pool on site too.

Key points about the hotel:
- Staff are super friendly and cannot do enough
-Central Brighton Location next to the waterfront, pier and Lanes
- Spacious rooms that feature the DREAM bed
-Room service available at request
- Bar serving food from 3pm-10pm
- Healthy and safety procedures available on the website

I don't think I've ever found a hotel that I've loved staying in so much and it is definitely on the radar for our next Brighton visit.
