The 2020 Luxury gift guide

If any year was the year of treating yourself, it's 2020. Be it you or the ones you love, this is the Christmas to really show someone how much you care, if being together for the holidays is out of reach. I've put together a list of gifts with that extra sparkle this Christmas, from beauty and styling, bags and travel.

GHD Gold Styler Gift Set. £159
Sticking with the haircare, receiving a set of GHDs for Christmas will make anyone’s day. The styler (straighteners to be exact) is apart of the Wish Upon A Star Collection by GHD, with a Gold Platinum styler on o
ffer, along side a Helios Professional Hairdryer also, which can be added into a gift set for £368 for both. The straighteners have dual-zone technology for a better performance each time, and are simply stunning. The stylers come in a gorgeous vanity case too, so a perfect gift for the sleek hair fans this Christmas.

1 People LONDON LHR Piñatex® Saddle Bag.
Who isn’t looking into sustainable fashion these days? Give the ones you love the gift of long lasting accessories that stand the test of time. I have this bag, and I love it, hence why I couldn’t possibly leave it out of the guide. The bag is a classic shape and style with a top handle and gold hardware. Vegan leather alternative, vegan suede lined, organic dust bag, and comes in a range of colours? Tick tick tick.

Monica Vinader Jewellery box
From fine silver to stunning gold, Monica Vinader has quickly become one of my favourite brands to gift my family and friends. Many of the items can be personalised, and I’ve bought a couple of small jewellery boxes along side one or two pieces this year myself. The boxes start at £75, in a range of colours and can each be personalised with letters or even emojis. The prices really do range from around £70 for a ring up to £300-500 for a set. Buy what you can a
fford, without reducing the luxuriousness of the gift.

Beauty Bio GloPRO.
The derma roller stimulates the skin to aid natural healing and regenerate the skin. It states to target firmer and younger looking skin by promoting collagen. The set comes with a spritzer for sanitation. I can vouch for those of us who let our skincare go this year so a set like this will always be welcome.

Jaspar Conran
When fragrances come in a box like this, who doesn't get excited? The Jaspar Conran Woman set comes with a body cream along side the bottle of Woman scent. There are top notes of lemon and ginger, with amber and patchouli base notes. Bliss.

Cath Kidson Travel set
Ok so a tad premature for sure, BUT there when it's needed. We all know how dreamy anything by Cath Kidson is, so a travel set for the future is a much welcomed gift. The set comes with a pack of playing cards, a bit of skincare and the bag is perfect for liquids in hand luggage. A gift inside a gift.

Feel Unique Samples
Each month, Feel Unique members (free membership of course) are able to choose five samples in a small travel bag for around £15 with postage. From Moshino fragrances to high end skincare, you can tailor the samples, of which there are many to choose from, to the lucky recipient. I chose my father, so picked a couple of mens aftershaves, skincare for beards and an SPF as he's hot on sun protection.

Fair Fax and Favour Mini Windsor
Bags bags bags. I for one am happy to receive one each year. The Fair Fax and Favour Mini Windsor is a perfect small bag for traveling and city walking. The bag is pure luxury. It comes in a dust bag, gift box wrapped in recyclable paper and a ribbon and wax stamp for good measure. A gift you don't have to think about wrapping. Simply stunning.

The Turbo Tong
The tong is set to be a best seller this year, stocked in Harrods, and even has a 30% off sale for
Black Friday this year. The tong has an extra long barrel so more hair can be tonged at once and goes up to 230 degrees Celsius if high heat is your jam. My favourite part is it’s auto switch off feature, so no worrying about forgetting to turn it off once you’re out of the house! The tong also promises to revitalise damaged hair- which is always a plus of course!

Hot Tools Black and Gold volumiser set.
The last hair styler I promise! I wanted to use the set before I spoke about it and.. I'm obsessed. It's for damp hair, and pulls in the skills of a hairdryer, straightener and curling tong all in one. I used mine with soaking wet hair, and it did the job WELL. My hair hasn't been so straight in months, really soft, and really really easy to use. It's got two head attachments for different hair lengths and it's perfect for a 2 minute refresh every day before work. The perfet gift this Christmas.

Google Nest Mini
The mini became a hit this year when Spotify offered a free device for everyone signed up to their premium programme. I jumped on this, and since we already have one, decided the mini would be a great little gift for someone. I'm in the habit of shouting at Siri asking for the time or to put an alarm on, so naturally this works perfectly in a digital lovers life.

With Black Friday on the horizon, luxury gifts can be nabbed at smaller prices. Treat the ones you love, or.. simply treat yourself.
