The Stocking filler guide for 2020

Stocking fillers. Even those two words get me excited for the season. For my second gift guide of 2020 I've put together a list of stocking fillers perfect for the girls (or guys in your life).

Skincare

My skincare routine has taken a hit this year, so any new in products I get to play around with are a yes from me! In The Wild offer stunningly packaged CBD infused and cruelty free skincare. With Jaguars the inspiration for the brand and promises of changed skin in 28 days, you'd be a fool not to give it ago. Click here to buy!

Neve's Bees is another fairly new brand for myself, but how sweet are those tins? The products are 100% natural with solid fragrances, cuticle butters and lip balm sets in the mix. A portion of the profits is donated to charity and the brand is constantly looking for ways to eco-improve their packaging. Oh, and they smell delish.

Ted Baker is a brand that needs no introduction. Their skincare and fragrance sets are a sell out each year and my mum for one is TB obsessed on Christmas day. This year Ted is offering Body Soufflés, sprays and tinned soaps, perfect for filling those stocks on the 25th. A little bit of luxury never went a miss.

Dr Paw Paw are a cult brand for skincare with gift boxes for hand creams and even anti bacterial sprays. The Hand Health Kit is a perfect little gift this year for key workers and hand cleaners alike. Other gift sets like the Hello Gorgeous set include a balm described as the “the Holy Grail of soft lips”. Winner winner.

The Body Shop, do they need any introduction? I was kindly sent a couple of their Christmas gifts this year to try and of course, it’s the simple things I loved the most. Their lip scrubs are the perfect size for hand bags and bedside tables, with hand creams, body scrubs, The Winter Jasmine soap and even bath bombs on offer this year.

Another higher end and luxury skincare brand as Esthederm. With eye patches aimed at lifting and repairing, hyaluronic serums for moisture and wrinkle reduction, and masks for exfoliating or reducing tightness, there’s a product for all needs this Christmas. For Boxing Day wind downs, the Bioderma Sensibio H2O water removes makeup with ease, and the Atoderm shower oil is perfect for silky showers without the dryness that some gels can bring. Click here to buy the serum and here for the eye patches.

For younger (and older) skincare and makeup fanatics, Pixi is a luxury brand we’ve seen all over the online spaces recently with the launch of the new Vitamin C range. Pixi have a range of fabulous pallets, skin tints, gift sets and of course the infamous Glow Tonic, of which, give me a bottle of on Christmas Day and I’ll be a happy bunny all year.

Kylie skin. The range has been formulated with nuts and features something for each problem area. The packaging is sweet, with its all pink and matte touch, and it really is a “you’ll have to try it and see for yourself” type range. The range comes in a single product or gift sets also.

Finally, bath time. Bath products are the simplest form of “Merry Christmas”, and a go to for stockings and secret Santa’s alike. Even the name of the Baylis and Harding Frosted Cranberry bubble bath Feels cosy and inviting. If your recipient is a razor user, the Gillette Venus Rose Gold razor is a must for silky smooth skin, perfect for those festive gatherings well be hosting with.. our household.

Fragrance

I'm a sucker for a perfume each Christmas, and these are the perfect size for stockings (or for yourself, because why not?). I found this little Bench perfume in a TKMaxx would you believe, for a fiver. It's perfect for traveling (when we can), fruity and fresh, and I know exactly who's getting it.

Missguided do perfumes, if you didn't know. I've been using Babe Vibes for about a year on and off. I forget it's there so it's like Christmas each time I find it at the back of the cupboard. It's a fruity scent with hints of pear and pistachio. Perfect for the season.

Abercrombie and Fitch. Did you know they did fragrances? Now you do. The women’s Instinct Together scent is fresh and fruity with red currents and pineapple at the forefront. There’s a men’s version too, with grapefruit and green apples. At just over £20 each, matching with the man in your life has never been easier.

Jewellery

Lola Rose is a statement jewellery brand. The bracelets are beaded with pearls and coloured to your favourite gem. The bracelets are stunning and perfect for a secret Santa gift too.

Tanning

The Rose and Caramel gift set is stunning set for tan fans, even if we had no where to go this year. My pick? The Velvet Tanning Moose. The brand is new from Holly Hagen and offers streak free application and moisture.

Makeup

I first came across Jane Iredale Makeup at a beauty convention a couple of years ago. They formulate the products to promote skin health and their range of gift sets this year are no different. I’ve got the brow set to try out myself, and the starry eyed collection. The set comes with a Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening Mascara and a PureLash Lash Extender and conditioner, for looked after lashes this festive season.

Personalised

This year, and last, I made a decision to start buying from small businesses. With 2020 a hard year on everyone, making a purchase from a small business will make at least one person's day, and the gift will be far more cherished I believe. Ohh So Rosie is a lifestyle influencer on Instagram who owns a calligraphy store on Etsy with the most gorgeous baubles and writing sets. It's my second year buying her baubles as gifts for people, with names and special dates in colours that'll match their tree scheme. I'm a gift giver rather than receiver, and knowing someone down to the colours they have on their Christmas tree is a skill I'm very proud of.

Many of the items list here were gifted for PR purposes and have made it onto the list as they’re products I’d be overjoyed at receiving myself each year.
